In a week full of really weird games and upsets (read Makeda's post for more details on this week's insanity), you might think the fantasy leaders would be surprising, but in actuality a lot of things looked the same this week as they have in other weeks. Rodgers had a good game, Murray had a good game, everyone Peyton threw to had a good game, blah blah.

Peyton Manning (QB, Broncos)

Obviously Keets talked about this yesterday, but it'd be impossible to wrap up this week without mentioning Peyton Manning again. Not only is he pretty solidly the best NFL QB of all time, as proven by his science with his record-breaking 509 passing TDs on Sunday, but he's also arguably one of the best guys in the league. Regardless of team affiliation, I'll always root for a dude that can keep it all in perspective. After Peyton's record-breaking TD, his teammates did this:

Peyton responded by saying this:

"I can't believe they actually did it. We sort of joked about it during the week. I'm a little bit hurt by the fact that they could do that, that they're kind of picking on me. I've lost my vertical leap, it's not there anymore. My side-to-side agility is not quite as quick so it hurt me and of course I probably deserved it based on the non-graceful play in that I tripped and fell on the play before, so it's probably fitting. But that was pretty funny, I enjoyed that and I'll definitely remember a lot of things about tonight but I'll definitely remember that part of it and the fact that they had the guts to go ahead and go through with it."

A sense of a humor? Self-deprecating jokes? Humbleness? Peyton Manning, bless your heart.

Golden Tate (WR, Lions)

I was looking at some personal details about some of this week's best players, in order to confirm that I found someone really interesting to talk about. And well, Golden Tate has an Instagram. And it is interesting. AND I FOUND MY PERSON TO TALK ABOUT. Let's get the boring stuff out of the way first: with Megatron's absence (GET WELL SOON, BOOBOO) Tate had 154 yards and a touchdown during the Lions' confusing and surprising victory over the Saints. A solid effort and the most fantasy points Tate has scored all season. A golf clap to you, sir.

But even better than his stats, are these gems:

A sense of humor directed at Tom Brady's awful wife? Two thumbs up.

I truly had NO idea this was the best part about a bye week.

Pretty sure Miles Austin knows these guys never left.

It should also be said that Tate went to Notre Dame, plays bad golf and wears AMAZING golf pants. I AM IN LOVE.

Colt McCoy (QB, Washington Football Team)

I recommend playing this in the background as you read this part of the post. It'll really help set the mood.

Even though my worst nightmares will come to life if my boy Colt starts against the Cowboys on Monday night, I can't not give him props for playing on Sunday and CRUSHING IT. First play of the game? 70 yard touchdown. Homebody went 11/12 with 128 yards. Such a talented dreamy Southern boy. And because it's my happy day:

Jimmy Graham (TE, Saints)

Might want to look into a basketball career if the Saints can't get it together, Jimmy.

What in the HELL is going on with the Saints? Seriously. The only thing I can think of is that everyone in New Orleans is currently as drunk as I was when I spent 2 days there doing all sorts of things that can't be repeated on the internet. I actually had to double-check to see if Graham played this week, because it seems so ridiculous for him to have zero points. I'd say maybe things will improve this week against the Packers, but.... that seems unlikely.

Gavin Escobar (TE, Cowboys)

I'm so glad I work from home, because there is no way I wouldn't have gotten fired today for how hard this picture made me laugh.

On the way hand, it worries me when Tony Romo throws to a TE that isn't Witten because I fear for the state of their bromance. On the other hand, Escobar had 2 TDs to help the Boys beat the Giants and head to 6-1, so I guess I won't complain too much. But for real guys, keep on loving each other.
